In terms of other diseases, however, such as breast and
prostate cancer, the French dont do nearly as well
as the Japanese and Koreans, who seem to be protected from
these illnesses due to their high consumption of soy products.

And in African cultures
where a high fibre diet is still consumed, the incidence of
colon cancer is far lower than it is in the USA or, for
that matter, in France and Britain.
In other words every
country and every culture has its own strengths and weaknesses.
If we could take the most protective nutrients from each culture,
we could put together a diet that would significantly
cut the risk of degenerative disease.
That, in turn, would
enable far more people to live long and healthy lives, and to
reach their biological potential - offering the prospect of quality
longevity to the majority -rather than the minority.
The good news is that we now have the knowledge to do this. But
first we have to understand the problem.
